Several of Douglas Preston’s books make the list for good Halloween Reads including Relic, Reliquary, and Thunderhead.  Dean Koontz’s series beginning with Odd Thomas is another favorite.  Another favorite of Dean Koontz is Velocity. Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files beginning with Storm Front is a good read for those who want a grown-up wizard in the hard-boiled Chicago detective style.  Be aware of some gore and a touch of sex.  Let us know of some of your favorite Halloween books.
